Since 2006, I have been looking for a way to share some of the health-related information and knowledge I have accumulated over a number of years with other people like you, so that you and many others can benefit. There are so many people I have come across in my life that are afraid to come forward and let others know about some of the important and useful information they themselves have about such matters. Thus I decided I would take the plunge and help guide people like you and many others to improve their health for themselves and those close to them.

My Son is now 13 years old and is aware of the effects of having good quality food, of having too much sugar, of eating processed foods, and of the importance of having a regular bowel movement at least once a day! Fortunately he has a really healthy colon and has a strong digestive system, but is also aware of the possible effects an unhealthy colon will have on his future health if he doesn’t look after it!

My Husband has for many years, used various treatments and herbs to maintain his colon health, and which is such a part of his own detox routine throughout the year as it is mine when I need it, I’d forgotten all about it until the idea for this website came about. I then realised we were quite fortunate to have the awareness and knowledge we have, and which I hope to share with you here.

Cleansing My Colon – My experience

I have had personal experience of the Ayurvedic way of looking at our health. Back in March 2006 I went to stay at an Ayurvedic spa in the foothills of the Himalayas in India. As part of the two week Detox and Weight Loss Programme I’d booked onto, I had a consultation with an Ayurvedic Doctor. He prescribed among other treatments a colonic cleansing using specially made up oils according to my constitution. So I know this contributed to the overall improvement in health and loss of weight; my belly was indeed reduced as was my weight by about 10lbs in two weeks.

Fast forward through four plus years of continued research into different ways of cleansing a colon as well as continuing to try out different programmes.

My wish for you is that you improve your understanding of why cleansing our colon and keeping it healthy is of vital importance to us all if we wish to retain and improve our health.
